ಒಳ ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಸಾಗಿಸಿ ರುಚಿನೋಡುವ ಆಸೆ...ಆದರೆ ನನಸಾದ ಕನಸು ..... ನನಸಾಗದ ಕನಸಿನಷ್ಟು ರುಚಿಸಲ್ಲವೇನೋ ಎಂಬ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಆತಂಕ...ಏಕೆಂದೆರೆ....ನನಸಾದ ಕನಸು "ವಾಸ್ತವ" ... ಮತ್ತು "ವಾಸ್ತವ" ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕನಸಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಪ್ಪೆ :( .... ಆದರೆ ವಾಸ್ತವವನ್ನು ಬದುಕಲಾರದೆ...ಕನಸಿನ ಮೊರೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು ...

After a long time watched a tamil movie in theatre... :) this is my 3.5th tamil movie in theatre ..:)

3. half of Vetaiyadu Vilaiyadu [ walked out in the middle...as it was tooo raw ]
4. KO :)

Had planned for it about a week back..and I was so desperate for the day...and it was worth the wait :)

• Loved 2 songs in the movie ennamo aedho and Venpaniye.....am listening them in a loop from the morning :) ..
• Both the heroes are superb :) Jeeva blends with the story very well, has just given what it requires, no overdose anywhere :) And Ajmal - lovvvved him :D planning to make him my desktop wallpaper ;)
• The title photo sequence was a treat , the set of photos displayed from various walks of life are just amazing
• gripping story line barring a few loopholes
• bubbly Piaa Bajpai
• My friend's patience to explain me most of the dialogues ;)

Movie could have been better except for the 2 unwanted songs, the initial dumb bank robbery sequence and the not sooo expressive karthika !

but....am still wondering...what does the title mean ???????

Likes n Dislikes ....

Now that it is almost 3 weeks in the new place....its time I start cribbing :d [ typical me huh! ]..just thought would list out things I liked and those which I didn't like :

• Office is 10 mins from home :)
• Food is good :D
• One team mate ...I found him very very sensible
  
• one more team mate....candidate for my "to be crazy about" list..he just seems to know everything under the sun :)
  
• Boss not too formal
• Day one .. I got the laptop,cube everything..all set ..didn't have to run around to get things
• variety of biscuits [ I mean the real edible ones ...for others I haven't interacted with my boss much yet ;) ]

Now the fuss ....

• one team mate of mine, she wants to know everything about me [ what time i come, what time I go, why i missed one day eeks ]...too nosy
• one team mate...with that ever confused look on her face, comments on almost everything...but makes no sense to me
• that old guy in the team who refuses to open up or share anything about the product
• boss doesn't bother to introduce me to the team....
• team seems to be not soo interested / proud about the work they are doing
• the home grown defect tracking tool they are using...JUNK it is...
• All the testcases seem to be written in BC and are still being followed
• There is a mailing list for the team, but still people send mails individually to all the ppl of the mailing list
• Test cases just revolve around open/close files... :(
  
• Missing all my friends at cisco...

...Where there is choice...there is confusion...where there is confusion..there is bound to be a change.....choice..change..confusion...all are intertwined closely...and that is the name of my current phase of life....uff!

changed company...not liking the change..may be because am still clinging to old stuff....and there is a choice now...should I take it or not is the question....hmmm

SHE and the Golden Gate Bridge!

2009 Dec to Mar 2011 ....a BIG gap..no posts on Baduku.....but ya lot of events in the actual baduku !!!!

Its been a decade since she embraced me.....she taught me to work,live and play ....all in a different way! Today I move away from her....reasons .......I can quote a few...but sometimes I can't convince myself and can't believe am moving away....

Until she came into my life....I didn't know she existed...[ Now, I laugh at my own ignorance]...the day I met her, she made me an offer I could not refuse...wow! what a day it was! and she was the envy of all my friends ;) ...it is only later in the journey I realized how gigantic she was...it was not just money...but she had much more to offer!

She gifted me with good mentors n great friends...mentors taught me to learn :) n friends made my every day a celebration ....

She offered me changes n challenges....which made the journey interesting and meaningful.
[ well "change" itself is the biggest "challenge" for me ..hopefully I ll handle it better in the coming days....]

She helped me realize my true potential, and empowered me!

Its hard for me to imagine a world without her..but still, I believe...every end has a new beginning........And in search of that new beginning......I enter a new world...!

Random notes from a random day ......

• Mobile alarm wakes me...and lying on bed I still think about that nice dream I had ...
• Bangalore roads look calm and beautiful...thanks to Solar eclipse
• Talk to ' someone' for hours together over phone...:)
• DC office ...... good old memories revisited ...red..yellow...purple..orange
  
• Waiting for a friend....finally not meeting... courtesy mobile no charge ...sorry :(
  
• Even though on leave....spend whole day in office in one of those quiet rooms
• GB and Ankitha...nice to meet after long !

Skandagiri Revisited!

It was one of those afternoon tea breaks where we started talking about trek to Sikandagiri [ this is how poppy calls it ] …Well our team is known for planning such trips and then not making it…but this time…thanks to AV and its everlasting bugs…We made it :)

As usual I was all excited about the trip from the moment it was planned…I donno how many times I have discussed “the plan” with my friend :) … did some pre-trip shopping @ marathalli [ no GB this time as it far from my office now :( ]..and realized its fun to shop here too :)

Even on Friday we were not very sure whether we would make it or not….Friday evening my manager were still looking tensed about some last minute issues..and my fellow team mates were working seriously…I was just praying that no new isssues would pop up ! ..and it rained in the evening too…so it was not looking good for the trip at all :(

By 9 we started to Mc.Dee’s @ total mall for poppy’s treat [ she will kill me for calling her like this : )] ...well the usual “Buddy Trio” ragging was on…thanks to the pretty girl at the place..becoz of whom the discussion went on different direction :) …later we spent some good time in front of the mall…awesome fun it was :) ….Gunnam just rocked with his one liners :) …and I learnt some good lesson here ! We started at around 11:30 from this place…stopped on the hebbal flyover for a few minutes ..took few pics and then headed towards Sikandagiri :) …had to ask few “drunken localites” for the “directions” lol ..and finally made it to the place by 1:30…but I must appreciate Mr.Ks driving skills ;-) except for the 1^st gear :D ….drive was just too good :) …except for some junk songs…..and sudden breaks at humps !!

Though not a full moon night…moon light was pretty good ..the weather was pleasant :) loved it….We trekked for some 3.5 hours…with non-stop talking :) …..this is when I realized that there is serious competition for “Mr Junk” title in our team. Gova is giving tuff competition to VC :D …Punter seemed very silent through out the trek …may be he was missing Mr.An ..who didn’t make it to the trek ;) …poppy was being ragged royally through out ….and there was a dog following us …well…it was not following us…it was following “You know who” :D [ I know I know…revenge will be taken for this ;) ] . Trek was not soo tough..except for a few slippery rocks….and yeah the walk through the bushes was quite adventurous ! …as it was pitch dark and the path was quite slippery…

Finally reached the peak around 5 in the morning…it was damn cold. Had the campfire and we had hot tea :) ...clicked a few pics…but quite disappointing…didn’t come out soo well :( …few of my friends witnessed sunrise for the First time in their life :)..or not sure they might have missed it too as there were other interesting people around :D…the clouds, the sun, the breeze, mist….wow felt like some dream land :) [ but must say…this place has deteriorated compared to what it was last time :( ]

Started climbing down by around 7 and reached down in about an hour and a half.. Climbing down was little tricky, becoz of loose sand, had to be very cautious..even one wrong step ..then would just need a few mins to be down :D..last time shah had a bad injury while climbing down :( …”soschith” ! …On the way back had junk breakfast at one of the sagar’s and reached office by 12.

Awesome trip it was….looking forward for the next one ;)

Write erase and Reload !

This is an amazing feature which our switches have!!!! How will it be if we can have such a feature for life!

How is it to start your life all over again ? Just write erase and reload ?

I know an absolute restart is not possible..but whatever is possible how will it be restart it ? new thinking, new perspective, new relations, new friends, new job, new house, new place,a new beginning ....

Will the memories,past experiences haunt ? will the past relations interfere ? will your society allow you to live that life which you dream about ???

And I guess this mostly depends on the phase of life you are in !

Having spent more than Quarter of my life ....

"Aug 31,2001" a day to remember!!

I joined along with bunch of my classmates

This is where I learn,live,laugh,play and earn. A place which has gifted me with treasured friendships and heartbreaks :).

Ja la la Ja la la Jala Dhaare!!!!

Yup!!...this weekend had been to Gaganachukki and Bharachukki!!

Since Yogaraj bhat has not released any movies..hadn't seen any falls for a long time..and ya....all my friends are getting married..( to be read as becoming busy!!! )..so hadn't been out for quite some time now...There was a time when we used to just decide in a day and go for a trip...now to make it for a small trip need to plan soooo much!! :(...

Initially visited Talakadu..did panchalinga darshana and then headed to Gaganachukki and Bharachukki.
This is right time to visit this place..full of water...the roaring, sprinkling of water is a feast to watch!! We went down near the falls at Bharachukki..I had never been soo close to any water falls...!! thanks to sudks..he took me all the way down the falls...its an experience in itself!!! Spent some time at the water falls..and then headed back to the traffic village!!!

Change hits again!

4 Years back when I came to this office, was cribbing about the heavy traffic on Bannerghatta road, bad canteen, dust/cement from the neighboring construction sites, no greenery...now all this is fine with me. Bannerghatta traffic is "ok" with me, and all the consturction work around my office is over and is clean..when everything seemed fine...there comes the "change"!!!!

Will be moving to new office in outer ring road from 1st of July. Have to start taking the office cab...that means no more scooty "pep" :( and no more outings to GB and Jayanagar :( and no afternoon walks @ 1:45.

Will be spending more time on roads and traffic..:(..


I will surely crib for one or two weeks...later...

Quantum Of Solace....

When I was in US, was exposed to a lot of gadgets and comforts of life. Non interfering people, independence and the ease of getting things done..was really amazing.. Towards the end of my trip had started feeling strong attraction from the giant ..and felt life back home was far far behind...

This Weekend, while coming back from Goa, got a chance to visit my ancestral village Gouthamapura near Sagara. After 13 years visited the place again. The countryside, the nature, the warmth,simplicity,hospitality of people..just awesome!! Could clearly see peace and tranquility in them! felt this has to be the way of life!!!!

In just 2 weeks had felt these in totally contradicting places...mind is wandering in search of bliss!!!! ..looks like time to find paradise in the place I live!!!

Sitting here trying to put my mixed feelings of departure...

A great memorable trip.. reunion of good old friends, complete strangers becoming great buddies..Italian delicacies ...awesome last minute trips....tremendous work pressure ....few realizations...crushes...shopping...my new camera ..and ya...lot of "precious alone time" !! :)

Larkspur had become my temp home..hosts were too good. Rolly , Hythm and Omar were always there pulling my leg. Watched a lot of movies...am sure now I won't crib when Ravi wants to go to any Engish movies ...[ or u never know the effect of sandalwood !! ]

Workplace was nothing but "Hectic"...tremendous pressure to complete tasks and a lot of unplanned things cropping up every minute...Learnt a lot of professional skills !

F.R.I.E.N.D.S ...catching up with all my good old friends was exciting....my school friends, hostel friends, office buddies...met them all...some are all happy with the US...some in gretest confusion..some desperate to come back.....

Now, heading to meet 2 more friends@Chicago..after that back home !
